hi, i'm chloe.
I'm truly thrilled you are here! So you want to get to know me a bit? Let's start with.. I am a classic INFP personality type. I romanticize life and day dream like it's my job. So I found a way to make romanticizing a career! Romanticizing and capturing your loved ones brings me so much joy. Sometimes I feel like I need to pinch myself when I'm sitting in bed with a coffee in hand at night and grinning like a kid while editing special moments between families. My current favorite show is Anne with an E -really about to restart it over. My favorite film is The Tree of Life because I will forever be in awe of Terrence Malick's vision.
I grew up a soccer and theatre kid in the suburbs but now I'm definitely a country mom. But mostly, in this chapter of life, I am a Mother. I have 3 lovely children and
a deep love for capturing the beauty in Mothers.

This past year I decided I want to learn how to be a content creator and now I am head over heels about vlogging and sharing thoughts and tidbits on tiktok - you can find me at @asimplecozyspace.
I am a lover of hobbies...but also a perfectionist when it comes to anything crafty/artsy. Needless to say, I always feel like I could spend all day on a craft/project but only get 20 minutes if I'm lucky.
My first concert was Van Halen at age 2.
I grew up going to concerts frequently as a kid, my siblings and I were often the only kids at the shows.
I am a book nerd. My favorite genre is thriller/suspense but I can also mentally nerd out with some self help books as well.

THe journey
How it all started.
I have been a photographer for 12 years now. It all started when my son was born and I wanted to learn to take quality photos of our day to day. I fell in love. I quickly realized that this could also be a way for me to stay home with him. And like any art form I try my hand at - I became obsessed. I was constantly chasing light and shadows and trying to find ways to create an image that can invoke a feeling. I truly believe I will always be chasing that feeling - photography is a love affair with life!
MY WHY
My reason.
At the start of my journey I would have probably said my "why" was to be able to stay home with my son. Now, 12 years later, I am much more aware of how quickly time passes and how the smallest of moments are the most important. And that smiles changes, dimpled knuckles fade and dynamics are forever changing. My "why" now is to play the important role to freeze these moments for you and your family.
wHAT INSPIRES ME?
The inspiration.
Life, itself. I live in La La Land to a fault but that has in trade given me the gift to always fall in love with my surroundings.

I have a big goal this year to gage more interest in at home shoots in more of a documentary setting. I also would love to shoot some family's at the lake this Summer or at a fun ice cream shot to switch things up a bit!
